Good nutrition is a very important part of a healthy lifestyle. With the Virtuagym software, you can make your clients aware of what they're putting in their mouth each day. When it comes to the nutrition app, you have two ways to coach your clients in nutrition, actively and passively.
Active coaching: With this version of coaching you do not only create a nutrition plan for them, but you also fill up (some of) their days in the food diary. You can put in food for every day of the week, or choose to only put in a few days. For example, for days you've chosen, they will need to eat exactly what you've put in for them, and the other days they can decide themselves. Coaching this way gives clients a more exact and strict diet to follow. This is very active coaching, and will take a lot of time.
Passive coaching: If you want to be more hands off, you can choose to only create a nutrition plan for your client. With the help of some personal data, the system creates a fitted nutrition based on a certain amount of calories, fats, egg whites and carbs. In the nutrition diary, the client can see how many calories they are allowed to eat. Once they put in the food they've eaten, the progress bars will go up. This way, they are made aware of what the food is doing to their daily needs. This version of coaching takes a lot less time and makes your clients aware of their food habits.
